Paul Alteri has been named as manager of the Watertown Rams of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League season, the team announced Tuesday.

Alteri returns to the franchise as he served as manager of the Watertown Wizards from 2001-03 and then took on general manager duties for the team in 2004.

A former head coach of the Jefferson Community College baseball team, Alteri is the head coach of the Immaculate Heart Central football team, a post he’s held for the past seven seasons.

Alteri replaces Nathan Kafka, who led the then Wizards to an 18-27 record and a ninth-place finish in the PGCBL last season.
