CANTON — Katie Christy drained three 3-pointers in the second half to help Canton pull away from Massena for a 52-35 victory in a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division girls basketball game Monday.

Christy finished with 13 points while Emma Rexford and Emily Pinckney added nine apiece for Canton (9-1 overall, 7-1 league).

Alisha Jacobs led Massena (8-5, 4-3) with 14 points.

MALONE 42, OFA 37

Rachel Lamica scored a game-high 13 points to lead the Huskies to a Central Division win over the Blue Devils in Malone.

Morgan Fountain and Janel Hazen added 10 and nine points, respectively, for Malone (8-3, 5-3).

Riley Luckie supplied 10 points and six assists for OFA (8-3, 5-3).

SALMON RIVER 70, GOUVERNEUR 37

Aliyah Cook worked the paint for 21 points and Abby Kelly added 18 as the Shamrocks claimed a Central Division victory over the Wildcats in Gouverneur.

Jaiden Mitchell added 10 points and Kiio King scored nine for Salmon River (9-3, 4-3).

Kirsten Roberts scored 13 points for Gouverneur (2-10, 0-8) and Danielle McCormick added 10.

HEUVELTON 48, HARRISVILLE 38

Maddie St. Pierre and Logan Tallman paced the Bulldogs with 15 points apiece as they rallied to beat the Pirates in a West Division game at Heuvelton.

Alexis Weidner chipped in nine points and nine steals for Heuvelton (9-3, 7-2).

Kathleen Coloney scored 14 points for Harrisville (6-6, 5-4).

LISBON 49, EDWARDS-KNOX 26

Emily Dishaw supplied 20 points as the Golden Knights used a big second half to beat the Cougars in a West Division matchup at Lisbon.

Beth Crowley added 10 points for Lisbon (6-6, 4-5).

Jadiylnn Bullock scored seven for Edwards-Knox (1-9, 1-7).

HERMON-DEKALB 48, MORRISTOWN 16

Clarisa Davis hit five 3-pointers en route to a 19-point outing for the visiting Demons, who jumped out to a 16-4 lead and cruised to a West Division win over the host Green Rockets.

Morgan Stott added 10 points for Hermon-DeKalb (5-5, 4-4).

Jordyn Tulley scored seven for Morristown (0-11, 0-9).

MADRID-WADDINGTON 41, COLTON-PIERREPONT 12

Olivia Parmeter and Katie Marcellus scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, to lead the Yellowjackets to an interdivision win over the Colts inColton.

Tessa Knight provided nine points and six steals, while Jenna King added 11 rebounds and five blocks for Madrid-Waddington (9-1, 5-0).

Morgan Doyle scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds for Colton-Pierrepont (3-8, 2-4).

CHATEAUGAY 47, POTSDAM 41

Courtney Boyea and Makayla Fleury scored 10 points apiece to lead the host Bulldogs to an interdivision win over the Sandstoners.

Hannah Cook added sevenpoints for Chateaugay (6-1).

Shanielle Chambers paced Potsdam (2-8) with 13 points.

GENERAL BROWN 48, IHC 35

Nikki Maier finished one point shy of a triple-double as the Lions beat the Cavaliers in a Fronter League crossover game at Immaculate Heart.

Maier had nine points, 11 rebounds and 10 steals for General Brown (5-6, 5-5). Monica Makuch and Katie Pitkin each added 12 points.

Anna Garrabrant led all scorers with 18 points for IHC (2-11, 1-8).

BOYS BASKETBALL

TUPPER LAKE 57, CANTON 52

Mitch Keniston drove the length of the court and scored on a layup at the buzzer to force overtime, then scored six of Tupper Lake’s 10 points in the extra period in a win over Canton in an interdivisional game in Tupper Lake.

Keniston finished with 23 points for Tupper Lake (7-5) while Brock Tarbox added 14.

Bryant Wentworth scored 17 for Canton (4-6). Eddie Bortnick chipped in 12 points while Charlie Ames added 10.

LOWVILLE 67, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 36

Kyle Malik paced the Red Raiders with 17 points as they routed the Panthers in a Frontier League crossover game in Belleville.

Matthew Bush contributed 13 points and eight rebounds for Lowville (6-6, 6-5).

Tyler Bast tallied 13 points to lead Belleville Henderson (1-12, 1-11).

HOCKEY

FAYETTEVILLE-MANLIUS 4, IHC 0

Trevor Chase notched a hat trick as the Hornets blanked the Cavaliers for a Section 3 Division I win in Watertown.

Ben Napierala stopped all 19 shots he faced for Fayetteville-Manlius (8-3-1, 5-2-1).

Immaculate Heart Central fell to 2-10-1, 1-7-1.

VOLLEYBALL

LOWVILLE 3, THOUSAND ISLANDS 0

Haley Riley provided 13 kills and three aces and Tasha Widrick recorded 23 assists to lead the host Red Raiders to a “C” Division sweep of the Vikings, 25-18, 25-15, 25-21.

Chelsea Koster contributed 19 service points, five aces and eight digs, while Erica Lucas generated 13 service points and three aces for Lowville (12-1).

Thousand Islands dropped to 4-9.
