Watertown police arrested a Fort Drum man at 12:48 a.m. Sunday at 500 Mundy St. on six charges, including possessing a fake drivers license.
Police said Kristian A.P. Baxter, 20, of 9840 Sandy Creek Valley Road, was using the license to make himself appear a year older so he could buy alcohol.
Police also said they found 5.097 ounces of marijuana inside Mr. Baxters vehicle, in which he was the sole occupant and operator, along with two 500-milligram hydrocodone pills, a schedule III controlled substance.
He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, failure to obey a traffic control device, violation of a conditional license and consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he was released on $500 bail with a ticket answerable in City Court.
