Douglas S. Foster, of 18 Pine St., called Ogdensburg police Friday at 12:25 a.m. to report that items were taken from his home. Their identity was unavailable but police classified their total value as between $50 and $199 and the complaint as a larceny.

City police were called Friday at 11:49 a.m. to investigate a forced-entry burglary at the home of Sommer L. Miller, of 715 New York Ave. A television set, a laptop computer and a PlayStation video game component with a total value of more than $1,000 were allegedly taken. Further details werent available.

Joanna Saunders, of 333 County Route 28, reported to city police Friday at 9:03 a.m. that the tires on her vehicle were slashed while it was parked on Monroe Avenue.

Richard L. Parmeter, 56, of 500 Riverview Towers, was ticketed Friday at 8:32 a.m. for failure to stop at a traffic signal following a collision with another vehicle at Ford and Paterson streets. Ogdensburg police identified the other motorist as Jason E. Sovie, 34 of 504 Grant St.
