GOUVERNEUR — Village police charged Renee A. Lopez, 41, of 1011 Route 812, Harrisville, with petit larceny Thursday after she allegedly stole $266 from a cash register on Jan. 5 and 6 while working at Jumbo’s Diner, 4 Clinton St.

She is to appear in Gouverneur Town Court.
