Indian River running back Darrius Bryant has been named to the Class A first-team offense by the New York State Sportswriters’ Association.

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound senior ran for 1,261 yards, caught passes for 423 yards and scored 17 touchdowns for the Warriors this past season.

Carthage junior defensive lineman Trevor Gibbons was a second-team selection in Class A.

Making the Class A honorable mention list are Indian River senior linebacker Devin Kincaid, and Potsdam senior running back O’den Robertson.
