■ CHAUMONT — The village Board of Trustees and the Lyme Town Council will hold a joint meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the municipal building, Route 12E, to discuss shared services.

■ The 2013 North Country Heart Walk launch will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Black River Valley Club, 131 Washington St. Survivors and volunteer leaders will attend to talk about their experiences. The fundraising goal for the 2013 walk is $220,000.
