Sophomore guard Derrick Williams of the Jefferson Community College men’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending Sunday.

A 2009 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in The Bronx scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a loss to Schenectady County CC on Sunday.
