MASSENA — Anthony Cortese scored two goals to lead the Massena hockey team to a 6-2 win over Norwood-Norfolk in an Northern Athletic Conference interdivision game at the Massena Arena on Tuesday night.

Brantley Adams, Ian Wilson, Maddox Merry and Grayson Phillips also scored for the Red Raiders (6-4-1 overall, 4-2-1 division). Kyle Bent and Kayden Pickering scored for the Flyers (5-4, 3-3).

NORTHWOOD PREP 2, MALONE 0

Brad Stone made 25 saves to help Lake Placid’s Northwood Prep school shut out the Huskies (5-3-1) in a nonleague game at Malone.

Tom Kyte scored in the first period for Northwood Prep, and Julius Alanne added a goal in the third period.

BOYS BASKETBALL

OFA 85, CANTON 39

Colin Ross, the Blue Devils’ sixth man, scored 19 points to lead OFA past the Golden Bears (3-5, 2-4) in a Central Division game in Canton.

Breton LaRose scored 18 points with seven rebounds, and Kinnon LaRose added 14 points and 10 assists for OFA (9-1, 5-1). Matt Piercey scored 13 points for OFA.

Evan LaPoint scored 14 points with seven rebounds to lead Canton.

POTSDAM 73, GOUVERNEUR 34

Konnor Bigwarfe scored 20 points to help Potsdam (7-2, 3-2) knock off the Wildcats in a Central Division contest in Gouverneur.

Shawn Clark scored 14 points and Will Coleman and Nick Vaccaro each tallied 10 for Potsdam.

Mark Horne led the Wildcats (2-8, 1-5) with 14 points.

MASSENA 74, SALMON RIVER 38

Joey LaBelle made nine 3-point baskets and finished with 27 points to lead the Red Raiders (6-4, 3-2) past Salmon River in a Central Division game in Fort Covington.

Zack Rusaw scored 15 points and Xavier Viskovich added 12 for the Red Raiders. Joshua Hynes led Salmon River (1-8, 0-6) with 11 points.

TUPPER LAKE 62, MADRID-WADDINGTON 57 (2 OT)

Mitch Keniston scored 23 points as the Lumberjacks (6-3, 4-2) defeated Madrid-Waddington in double overtime in a North Division game at Tupper Lake.

The Yellow Jackets (6-4, 3-3) lost standout point guard Colin O’Bryan to a dislocated knee in the first half. It is not known how long he’ll be unable to play.

Brock Tarbox and Anson Gagnier each scored 11 points for Tupper Lake.

Richard Wright led Madrid-Waddington with 22 points and Maurice Rease added 16.

ST. REGIS FALLS 63, BRUSHTON-MOIRA 27

The Saints (10-0, 6-0) went on a 22-8 run in the second quarter to pull away from Brushton-Moira in an interdivision game in St. Regis Falls.

Brandon Votra led St. Regis Falls with 20 points and Corey LaBounty added 19. The Panthers fell to 4-4, 4-2.

ST. LAWRENCE 66, COLTON-PIERREPONT 32

Zane Ramsdell scored 19 points as the Larries defeated Colton-Pierrepont (4-5, 2-3) in an interdivision game in Brasher Falls. Cody Meacham added 12 points for the Larries (3-6, 2-3).

NORWOOD-NORFOLK 63, PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 35

Brandon Sawyer had 15 points to lead the Flyers (1-10, 1-6) past the Panthers in an interdivision game in Norwood.

Cody Rust delivered 15 for Norwood-Norfolk. Mike Burns led the Panthers (0-7, 0-6) with 15 points.

HARRISVILLE 72, HERMON-DEKALB 41

Joe Butts scored 17 points for the Pirates (8-2, 5-1) in a West Division game win in Harrisville.

Nate Weaver scored 16 points and Justin Hartle tossed in 10 for Harrisville. Zach Robinson led the Demons (2-8, 2-5) with a 23-point effort and Steven Gilbert tallied 12.

EDWARDS-KNOX 102, CLIFTON-FINE 16

Five players scored in double figures as the Cougars broke the century mark against Clifton-Fine (1-9, 0-6) in a West Division contest at Star Lake.

Kaden Dandrow led the Cougars (9-0, 7-0) with 18 points and Tyler Sharpstene had 17. Chris Davison and Tyler Tresidder each scored 13 for Edwards-Knox.

LISBON 48, MORRISTOWN 45

Adam Felt scored 15 points and Jimmy Robinson added 14 to help lift Lisbon (6-4, 4-3) past the Green Rockets in a West Division game in Morristown.

Ryan Volmer scored 13 points for Morristown (2-7, 1-6) and Devin Dulmage added 10.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MASSENA 44, MALONE 36

Aryanna Jacobs scored 14 points as Massena (8-4, 4-2) defeated the Huskies in a Central Division game in Malone.

Marissa Manley added 12 points for the Red Raiders, who went on a 35-23 run in the second and third quarters. Jenelle Heden led Malone (8-4, 3-3) with 12 points.

NORWOOD-NORFOLK 42, PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 28

Carlea Weaver led the Flyers (2-8, 2-4) with 13 points in an interdivision win over Parishville-Hopkinton in Norwood. Cadence Hunkins added 12 points for Norwood-Norfolk. Nicole White led the Panthers (2-5, 1-4) with 11 points.
