SANDY CREEK Samuel Widrick made a basket with 17 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime, and Beaver River went on to earn a 62-60 win over Sandy Creek in a Frontier League C Division boys basketball game on Tuesday night.
Widrick was the games high scorer with 25 points for the Beavers (11-1 overall, 10-1 league), while Alex Hall finished with 15 points, 13 rebounds and six blocked shots for the Beavers, who outscored the Comets, 11-9, in the extra session.
Cameron Hall led a balanced attack for the Comets (5-5) with 17 points, and Reis Harding and Zach Halsey each added 12 points.
SOUTH LEWIS 53, LOWVILLE 25
Matt Mooney fired in 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the host Falcons made it eight straight victories in a C Division game at Turin.
Jason Martin contributed 17 points, five assists and five rebounds for South Lewis (8-4).
Brian OConnor led Lowville (5-5, 4-5) with 12 points. The Red Raiders were playing without injured leading scorer Kyle Malik.
WATERTOWN 46, A-P-W 45
Mason Phillips converted a three-point play with 40 seconds remaining to lift the Cyclones to a crossover victory over the Rebels at Case Middle School.
Siraj Sindhu and Ryan Bajjaly each scored 14 points for Watertown (3-8, 3-5). Phillips finished with nine points.
Aaron Marshall netted 14 points for Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (5-5).
INDIAN RIVER 50, GENERAL BROWN 48
Marcus Keys recorded a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, as the Warriors held off the Lions for a crossover victory in Philadelphia.
Shelton Williams and Justin Mattingly each added 12 points for Indian River (5-3).
John Evans paced General Brown (1-10, 1-9) with 12 points.
CARTHAGE 73, CAMDEN 40
Sophomore Peyton McLaurin scored 19 points, had six assists and four steals as the Comets rolled over the Blue Devils in a nonleague game at Carthage.
Walter Jeter contributed 14 points and nine rebounds for Carthage (9-1), and Keyan Pinnock added 10 points.
Ryan McCarthy led Camden (5-5) with 18 points.

Freshman Quincy Zimmerman scored 12 points as the Spartans used a balanced effort to rout the host Cavaliers in a crossover game.
Marisa Clark and Brooke VanCoughnett scored 10 points apiece, and Austin Stevens added nine for South Jefferson (8-0). VanCoughnett also provided seven steals, five rebounds and five assists.
Olivia Miles scored six points for Immaculate Heart Central (2-9, 1-6).

Alexis Stevens supplied 12 points, seven rebounds and four steals as the Rebels earned a crossover victory over the Cyclones in Parish.
Kylee Bartlett and Erin Stever each added nine points, and Bartlett grabbed nine rebounds for A-P-W (5-6, 4-6).
Katie Aldrich scored 16 points to lead Watertown (2-6).
