POTSDAM — A Potsdam resident faces a traffic ticket following investigation into an alleged road rage incident Monday afternoon.

Donald W. Oney Jr., 45, address not listed, was charged Tuesday with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, according to the Potsdam Police blotter.

According to the blotter, two people were involved in a verbal confrontation at 2:25 p.m. Monday in the Price Chopper parking lot on Market Street. The blotter did not indicate the other party’s name.

A call to village police for further information was not immediately returned Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. Oney is to answer the charge later this month in Village Court.
