■ The Watertown City Council named Community Bank N.A., Key Bank and Watertown Savings Bank as depositories for the city for a one-year term.

■ City residents Martha A. McIntosh and Cynthia E. Cronk were recently named commissioners of deeds by the Watertown City Council. They will serve two-year terms that expire Dec. 31, 2014.

■ CAPE VINCENT — The Town Council, Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a joint meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Cape Vincent Recreation Park, James Street, to prepare for an Article X meeting.

■ HERRINGS — The village Board of Trustees approved a change to the monthly meeting time. Until further notice, the board will meet at 5 p.m. the first Monday of the month at the municipal building on Route 3.
