The Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust will offer the following winter treks:
■ 10 a.m. Jan. 19 a two-mile snowshoe excursion along Independence River. Participants should meet at the intersection of Chases Lake Road and Nortonville Road in Greig. People are encouraged to bring snacks, water, appropriate clothing and snowshoes. The land trust has a limited number of snowshoes available to lend to both children and adults. If interested, participants should plan to have lunch after at the River Valley Inn.
■ 9 a.m. Feb. 2 a cross-country skiing adventure on the land trusts newly acquired Joseph A. Blake Jr. Wildlife Sanctuary, Rutland.
■ 2 p.m. Feb. 17 a snowshoe trip on the land trusts protected property in West Turin.
