SANDY CREEK — Haley Riley scored on 19 kills and four aces as Lowville handed Sandy Creek its first volleyball loss of the season with a 28-26, 25-27, 25-17, 25-18 Frontier League “C” Division victory Monday.

Tasha Widrick distributed 28 assists, and Rachael Widrick hit nine kills for the Red Raiders (9-1), whose only loss was to the Comets earlier in the season.

For the Comets, Kylie Martin finished with nine kills, 16 assists and 10 digs. Kylie Hanni provided 11 kills and nine digs, and Michaela Martin added 13 service points and 12 digs for Sandy Creek (9-1).

APW 3, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 2

Jena Booth registered six aces and five kills to help power the Rebels to a 25-11, 14-25, 13-25, 25-18, 25-23 interdivision victory over the Panthers (0-9) at Parish.

Emily Radley chipped in with four aces, three kills, six assists and seven digs, and Shayla Nichols added six kills and two aces for Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (4-6, 2-6).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

CANTON 44, OFA 42

Emma Rexford hit a floater in the lane with 37 seconds left to help the Golden Bears rally to a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division victory over the host Blue Devils.

Rexford scored 13 points for Canton (7-1 overall, 5-1 league), including eight in the fourth quarter. Kali Frank recorded eight points and made four steals in the fourth quarter.

Susie Morrow led OFA (8-3, 5-2) with 13 points. Riley Luckie added 10 points

POTSDAM 47, GOUVERNEUR 42

Shanielle Chambers was the game’s high scorer with 19 points as the Sandstoners defeated the Wildcats for an NAC Central victory at Potsdam.

Sarah Vivlamore added 15 points for Potsdam (2-6, 1-5).

Kristin Roberts scored 14 points for Gouverneur (2-8, 0-7).

SALMON RIVER 43, MASSENA 39

Abby Kelly fired in a game-high 23 points as the Shamrocks held off the Red Raiders for an NAC Central Division win at Massena.

Taylor Francis added seven points and seven rebounds for Salmon River (7-2, 4-2).

Alisha Jacobs had 18 points for Massena (5-5, 3-2).

HARRISVILLE 40, HERMON-DEKALB 31

Chelsea Pierce generated 12 points as the Pirates used stifling defense to win an NAC West game against the Demons in DeKalb Junction.

Kathleen Coloney added 11 points for Harrisville (5-4, 4-4).

Brittany Rust scored 12 points for Hermon-DeKalb (4-3, 3-3).

CLIFTON-FINE 72, EDWARDS KNOX 32

Hunter Hitchman generated 23 points, eight assists seven rebounds and six steals to pace the Eagles to an NAC West win over the Cougars in Russell.

Alexis Pomerville tallied 20 points for Clifton-Fine (6-3, 4-3), while Morgan Skeldon had 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Kaylee Sharpstene scored 11 points for Edwards-Knox (1-7, 1-5).

LISBON 49, MORRISTOWN 24

Emily Dishaw registered a career-high 22 points to key the Golden Knights to an NAC West victory in Lisbon.

Jackie Sovie contributed 13 points for Lisbon (5-5, 3-4).

Karissa Bertrand had 10 points for Morristown (0-9, 0-7).

HAMMOND 55, HEUVELTON 25

Alyssa Crosby generated 12 of her 25 points in the fourth quarter as the Red Devils earned an NAC West triumph in Hammond.

Gabby Marshall added 12 points for Hammond (8-1, 6-0).

Alexis Weidner scored 10 points for Heuvelton (7-3, 5-2).

MADRID-WADDINGTON 37, TUPPER LAKE 17

Olivia Parmeter supplied 13 points as the Yellowjackets won an NAC North game in Madrid. Tessa Knight added 12 points for Madrid-Waddington (7-1, 4-0). Katie Stuart registered 14 points and 11 rebounds for Tupper Lake (8-3, 5-1).

ST. LAWRENCE 53, COLTON-PIERREPONT 34

Breanna Vatter scored 16 points as the Larries earned an NAC North victory in Colton.

Sam Richards delivered 17 points for St. Lawrence (5-5, 4-2).

Morgan Doyle scored 17 points and tallied eight rebounds for Colton-Pierrepont (3-6, 2-2).

BRUSHTON-MOIRA 56, ST. REGIS FALLS 6

Ariele Gary tallied 14 points as the Panthers routed the Saints in a Northern Athletic Conference North game at Brushton.

Makenzie King chipped in with 11 points for Brushton-Moira (2-5, 2-4).

St. Regis Falls dropped to 0-7, 0-6.
