Motorists accused of DWI

The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

n Stephanie S. Campbell, 38, of 111 Meadow Ave., Watertown, also was charged by city police Saturday morning in the 100 block of Court Street with using a cellphone while driving. Her blood alcohol content was 0.11 percent, police said. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication.

n Arthur G. Woodard, 43, of 4 Ober St., Massena, was charged by state police at 1:52 a.m. Saturday in the McDonald’s parking lot on South Main Street, Massena. His BAC was 0.16 percent, they said.

n John E. Scott, 38, of 10 Woodlawn Ave., Massena, was charged by state police at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Main Street, Massena. His BAC was 0.08 percent, they said. He also was charged with driving with a suspended registration and having no license or insurance.

n Torrey R. Jackson, 26, of 62 Fayette Road, Massena, also was charged Saturday by Massena village police with false personation and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Police said that when Mr. Jackson was stopped at 1:30 a.m. on Church Street and given an open-container ticket, he gave a false name.

At 2:12 a.m., he was stopped again, this time for running a stop sign on Highland Park, and again gave a false name, police said. His BAC was not available.
