MASSENA - Torrey R. Jackson, 26, of 62 Fayette Road, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and false impersonation by village police on Saturday.

Mr. Jackson was stopped on Church St. at 1:30 a.m. and given an open container ticket. He allegedly gave police a false name at this time.

At 2:12 a.m. he was stopped again, this time for running a stop sign on Highland Park. He was driving while intoxicated, according to police. He once again allegedly gave police a false name.

His blood alcohol content was not available.

He was taken to the St. Lawrence County Jail, Canton, and held without bail.
