Three men were arrested Saturday by Watertown police on robbery charges in connection with a New Years Day incident on Factory Street.
Lawrence M. Bradford, 43, of 650 Bronson St., Lower Apt., and Shawn P. OLeary, 39, of 206 Factory St., Apt. 505, were charged with two counts of second-degree robbery. Jermaine A. Nesmith, 30, of 1620 Huntington St., Apt. 28, was charged with two counts of second-degree robbery and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
The three are accused of robbing Jeffrey Jewett, Factory Street, of two cellphones, $200 in cash and a bottle of prescription pills.
They were being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.
