FORT DRUM — A spokesman for the Army’s Criminal Investigation Command said the investigation into the death of Sgt. Carl E. Brock that occurred on post in December is continuing.

In an email to the Times, the command’s spokesman, Christopher P. Grey, said investigators are awaiting the final findings of an autopsy and toxicology report, which could take weeks or even months. A cause of death has not yet been confirmed.

Sgt. Brock, of the 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, was found dead Dec. 17 in his on-post residence.
