Watertown- Linda K. Platt, 65, of Maywood Terrace, Watertown died Wednesday at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse after being stricken at her home.
Mrs. Platt was born October 17, 1947 in Gouverneur to Arthur and Genevieve (McCready) Lacey. She was a 1966 graduate of Indian River High School. Mrs. Platt was a volunteer at the Salvation Army in Watertown retiring due to ill health.
Mrs. Platt enjoyed Quick Draw, Online Bingo, Soap Operas, Pro Wresting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters Laurie Law, Jennifer Taylor and her husband Frank McAdams, all of Watertown and Donna Darling, IN. A sister Victoria Lear, Watertown; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Renauda Lacey, Theresa, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father.
The funeral service will be 1:00pm Saturday January 5th at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, with Rev. Joyce Woodcock of First United Methodist Church officiating. Calling hours will be Saturday from 11:00am - 1:00pm prior to the funeral.
