Black River- Willie O. Wills, 49 of North Main St. Black River, died Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Wills was born August 5, 1963 in Scooba, MS to Willie Otis Stitman and Ruth Wills. He graduated from East St. Louis High School and Culinary Arts School in Illinois. Mr. Wills worked for the Black River Department of Public Works and later as a supervisor at Alteri’s Bakery until he became ill in 2002.

Willie is survived by his mother, Ruth Wills, four sisters, Theresa and Pearlie Wills, all of East St. Louis, Makita Wills, Detroit and Patricia Ballard, Black River. Three brothers, Lonnie, Freddie and Joe Wills, all of East St. Louis.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the M.L. King Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
