A Glen Park woman was charged Thursday by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department in the theft of about $700 from Walmart Super Center, outer Arsenal Street, where she was employed.

Kristina M. Souva, 34, of 721 Main St., is ordered to appear in town of Watertown Court to face a petit larceny charge.

She is accused of crediting money onto gift cards that she pocketed, as well as taking money from cash registers and from a lost and found container between May and December, according to the sheriff’s office.
