ROCHESTER Jerry Coleman hit a foul shot with less than two seconds left to help the Clarkson mens basketball team hold off Baruch for a 61-59 win over in the championship game of the St. John Fisher Holiday tournament on Sunday afternoon.
Coleman, a Potsdam product, was the games high scorer with 19 points for the Golden Knights (8-1). Marques Charlton added 14 points for Clarkson.
John Coleman was one point shy of a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.
Fuat Yapar paced the Bearcats (7-4) with 15 points. Raymond De La Cruz contributed 10 points.
Clarkson never trailed in the game, but survived a Baruch comeback that brought it to within a point before the Coleman free throw.
PITT-BRADFORD 72, SUNY CANTON 57
Tyler Ferguson posted a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds as the Panthers downed the Kangaroos in the consolation game of the SUNY Brockport Holiday tournament in Brockport.
Keith Burgess supplied 15 points for Pittsburgh-Bradford (6-4).
Khalid Vaughn earned a place on the all-tournament team with a game-high 23 points for SUNY Canton (2-8) and logged his fourth double-double of the season with 15 rebounds.
Scott Dixson scored 12 poits for the Roos and Malone graduate Ryan Lamica added 11 points and three assists.

REGIS 56, CLARKSON 44
Emilee Marro led all scorers with 19 points as the Pride took the consolation game of the Bowdoin Holiday Invitational over the Golden Knights in Brunswick, Maine.
Claire Ramonas added 10 points and seven boards for Regis (4-3).
Ashley Loggins registered a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds for Clarkson (2-6).
