DWI - MASSENA - State police made a number of driving while intoxicted arrests on New Year’s Eve and early New Year’s Day. Among those were:

■ Laura J. Wolf, 40, of Norwood was charged following a traffic stop at 9:15 p.m. Monday on the River Road in the town of Potsdam. She was also charged with a felony count of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed for speeding and failure to keep right.

■ Jeffrey C. Lavalley, 25, of Waddington was charged following a traffic stop at 1:44 p.m. Tuesday on County Route 38 in the town of Norfolk. He was also ticketed for violating his conditional license and speeding.

■ Elizabeth A. Crossman, 36, of Winthrop was charged following a traffic stop at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 420 in the town of Brasher.

ASSAULT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Marvin L. Wood, 36, of Norfolk with third-degree assault Monday evening following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported at 5:45 p.m. Monday from the town of Norfolk.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - NORTH LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police charged Emily A. Durant, 24, of Winthrop with unlawful possession of marijuana when they were investigating a complaint at 1171 County Route 49.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - TUPPER LAKE - Tupper Lake-based state police charged Daniel L. Snyder, 17, of Brasher Falls with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 1:44 p.m. Monday on Wawbeek Avenue in the village of Tupper Lake.
