Watertown police charged Gary E. Hyatt II, 28, of 167 Ten Eyck St., with third-degree assault at 3:32 a.m. Monday at his residence.

He is accused of pushing Thomas R. Bogenschutz, same address, about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, causing him to fall over a chair and suffer a broken collarbone and separated shoulder.

Mr. Hyatt was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court.
