NORWOOD—Funeral services for 85 year old Margaret Ann Murray, a resident of Baldwin Acres and formerly of 3 Spring Street, Norwood, will be held Monday at 10 am at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Sunday from 2-5 pm. Mrs. Murray passed away Christmas morning at her home.

Margaret Ann is survived by her three sons, John and Marcia Murray, James Murray, Don and Debbie Murray and her daughter, Mrs. Ann Herne, all of Norwood. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a sister Jane Cook, Baldwinsville. Margaret Ann was pre-deceased by her husband and her brother, Ross Logan.

Born in Waddington on October 19, 1927 to the late Edwin and Katherine Thompson Logan, she married Rodney Murray on November 13, 1948. Rodney passed away in June of 2007. Margaret Ann worked for Clarkson University for 25+ years as a secretary at the information center. She retired in 1990. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. Margaret Ann loved to read, cleaning her house and going to camp on Higley Flow to spend time with family. Memorial donations can be made to St. Andrew’s Church or to the Potsdam Animal Shelter.
