MASSENA — Sheldon O. Cole, 37, of, 44 Indian Village Road, Hogansburg, was charged by Massena village police with assault at 1:54 a.m. Saturday.

Mr. Cole is accused of hitting an unidentified victim in the face while at a bar on Andrews Street.

He was sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $2,500 bail.
