Michael J. Tweedy, 26, of 35288 Snell Road, Theresa, was charged Sunday night with second-degree assault and obstructing governmental administration after he allegedly ran from police and fought with officers earlier during a larceny complaint investigation in the 800 block of Academy Street. He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.
