GOUVERNEUR – Julia J. Weller, 16, of 91 Main St., Richville, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon by state police at 3:20 p.m. Friday.

Ms. Weller was being interviewed by state police regarding an unrelated case and was found to be in possession of a throwing star, according to troopers.

She is scheduled to appear in Gouverneur Town Court.
