CLAYTON — Senior Kristin McGraw scored a career-high 34 points to spark unbeaten Thousand Islands past Lyme, 77-32, on Thursday night in a girls basketball crossover game in the Frontier League.

McGraw, who made five 3-point baskets, also hauled in eight rebounds and blocked four shots for the “C” Division-leading Vikings (7-0, 6-0), who connected for a season-high nine 3-pointers.

Ashley Howard chipped in with 10 points for Thousand Islands.

Allie Barton grabbed eight rebounds and Erica Sullivan totaled seven rebounds and four assists for the Vikings.

Yanna Ososkalo and Enesa Ososkalo scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Indians (0-6).

BOYS BASKETBALL

BEAVER RIVER 67, LAFARGEVILLE 32

Samuel Widrick led all scorers with 15 points as the Beavers breezed to a crossover triumph in LaFargeville.

Tarren Farney contributed 12 points and generated seven assists for Beaver River (7-1, 6-1), and Zack Steiner scored 12 points.

Alex Hall chipped in with 11 points and hauled in 10 rebounds for Beaver River.

Eric Doolittle scored 12 points to lead the Red Knights (1-6).

SANDY CREEK 62, COPENHAGEN 54

Zach Halsey powered the Comets with 19 points and 15 rebounds as they earned a crossover win over the Golden Knights in Copenhagen.

Matt Ennist contributed 13 points for Sandy Creek (3-4).

Antonio Figueroa led all scorers with 26 points for Copenhagen (4-4).

HOCKEY

CORCORAN 5, IHC 4

Ben Carrock scored the game winning goal with 1 minute, 34 seconds remaining as the Cougars edged the Cavaliers in a Section 3 Division I crossover game in Watertown.

Cam Bennett tallied a goal and an assist for Corcoran (4-2-1, 3-2-1) and goalie Sam Walsh made 18 saves.

Bentley Brosch tied the game with 2:46 left for the Cavaliers (1-5-1, 1-4-1).

Jordan Trudeau and Jake Renzi each contributed a goal and an assist for IHC, and Michael Morgia had two assists.

Grant Chamberlain finished with 22 stops for the Cavaliers.

WRESTLING

SANDY CREEK 66, IHC 24

Zach Pluger pinned Cyrus Beckman in 1:02 in their match at 145 pounds to give the Comets an interdivision win over the Cavaliers in Watertown.

Ryan Wills (113), Justin Bonney (138), Zach Brown (152) and AJ Wills (195) also won via fall for Sandy Creek (10-4, 6-2), which also received six forfeit victories.

Jaden Grill (160) and Greg Abbass (220) gained pinfall victories for Immaculate Heart Central (3-6, 3-4).

INDIAN RIVER 43, LOWVILLE 36

Stefan Colbert (106) and Sonny McPherson (182) each recorded a pin to help the Warriors beat the Red Raiders in an interdivision dual meet at Lowville.

Nick Toutant won at 126 with a 16-3 major decision for Indian River (4-0).

Brandon Fayle (285) and Roger Cecconi (220) won their respective matches by pin for Lowville (9-5, 2-3).

VOLLEYBALL

LOWVILLE 3, INDIAN RIVER 0

Chelsea Koster totaled 20 service points, including five aces, and recorded seven digs as the Red Raiders swept the Warriors in a crossover match.

Tasha Widrick contributed 15 assists for Lowville (7-1), which won 25-13, 25-18, 25-14.

Haley Riley and Rachael Waite chipped in with 10 and eight kills, respectively, for the Red Raiders.

Makenna Honeywell recorded eight service points, including two aces, for Indian River (1-6).

SANDY CREEK 3, SOUTH JEFFERSON 1

Kylie Hanni totaled 11 kills, five blocks and seven digs as the unbeaten Comets prevailed in a crossover match.

Michaela Martin registered 15 service points, including six aces, and contributed five digs for Sandy Creek (8-0), which won 25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 25-20.

McKenna Guarasce registered 15 kills and four blocks for the Comets, and Viki White recorded 19 assists and eight digs.

Jackie Decker paced South Jefferson (6-2, 5-2) with 13 assists and five kills.

Alex Mooney had 11 kills and three blocks.

CARTHAGE 3, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 0

Courtney Cunningham paced the Comets with 10 kills, six service points and three aces as the Comets swept the Panthers 25-18, 25-16, 25-14 in an crossover matchup at Belleville.

Claire Sauter supplied 11 service points, six assists and three aces for Carthage (6-1, 5-1). Carly Sullivan added 10 assists and four service points.

Jordan Fitzgerald tallied five service points and five digs for Belleville Henderson (0-8).

Daryan Wheeler had five digs and four service points.
