MALONE — Massena used six wins by pin to defeat Malone 67-16 in a Northern Athletic Conference wrestling meet Tuesday.

Konnor German (126 pounds) pinned his opponent in just 28 seconds for the Red Raiders (2-1). Massena’s other pins came from Jeremy Malone (220), Nolan Terrance (285), Skyler Cameron (120), Landon Laughlin (138) and Isaiah Perry (152).

BOYS SWIMMING

LOWVILLE 112, CARTHAGE 71

Stephen Larche and Collin Stewart each won two individual races and contributed to a pair of first-place relays to help power the Red Raiders (4-0) to a Frontier League interdivision victory over the Comets (0-4) at Carthage.

Larche capture the 200- and 500-yard freestyles, while Stewart took the 200 individual medley and 100 free.

WATERTOWN 102, BEAVER RIVER 55

Andrew Keenan captured the 50 free and 100 backstroke and swam on two winning relays as the host Cyclones gained an interdivision victory.

Joey Ongkingco claimed the 100 and 200 free and anchored a first-place relay for Watertown (4-0).

Nick Grunert won the 100 breaststroke for Beaver River (1-3).

VOLLEYBALL

LOWVILLE 3, CARTHAGE 0

Tasha Widrick totaled 29 assists and 13 service points as the Red Raiders swept the Comets in a crossover match.

Chelsea Koster chipped in with 17 digs and nine service points, and Haley Riley had 14 kills for Lowville (6-1), which won, 25-19, 25-14, 25-19.

Carly Sullivan handed out eight assists, while Cassie Birth pitched in with four kills and two aces, and Courtney Cunningham also hit four kills for Carthage (5-1, 4-1).

SANDY CREEK 3, GENERAL BROWN 0

Grace Wallace powered the Comets with nine aces, seven kills, and three digs as they swept the Lions 25-8, 25-18, 26-24 in interdivision play at Dexter.

Maddie Bush supplied 10 digs and three aces for Sandy Creek (7-0). McKenna Guarasce added eight kills, three blocks and three digs.

Sierra Bracewell paced General Brown (1-5) with nine assists and three digs. Ashley Lewis-Seals had four kills.

HOCKEY

ROME FREE ACADEMY 10, IHC 1

Keegan Richie totaled six points, including five goals, to pace the host Black Knights to a Section 3 Division I East victory.

Justin Hussey registered four assists for RFA (6-0, 5-0), which scored four power-play goals.

Goalie Grant Chamberlain made 30 saves for the Cavaliers (1-4-1, 1-2-1).
