MASSENA Alisha Jacobs scored 18 points, including nine on 3-point baskets in the third quarter, as the Massena girls basketball team held on for a 46-45 victory over Ogdensburg Free Academy in a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game Tuesday.
Massena held a 42-33 lead late in the game and staved off a late Blue Devils rally for the win.
Jacobs also provided eight rebounds and five assists for the Red Raiders (4-1 overall, 3-1 division). Marissa Manley scored 12 points with seven rebounds.
Riley Luckie led OFA (5-2, 3-1) with 12 points and hit a 3-point basket with nine seconds left to cut the lead to 46-45. Felicia Barr grabbed 11 rebounds for OFA.
MALONE 49, GOUVERNEUR 25
Morgan Fountain scored 16 points to help Malone defeat Gouverneur (2-5, 0-5) in a Central Division game in Gouverneur.
Rachel Lamica added 13 points for the Huskies (5-2, 3-1).
CLIFTON-FINE 54, HEUVELTON 48
Hunter Hitchman scored 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had six steals and six assists as the Eagles (2-2) defeated the Bulldogs in a West Division game at Star Lake.
Morgan Skeldon added 14 points with 10 rebounds and five blocked shots for Clifton-Fine. Delaney Kerr grabbed seven rebounds and Alex Pomerville six rebounds for the Eagles.
Maddie St. Pierre led the Bulldogs (4-2, 4-1) with 18 points, and Olivia St. Pierre scored 15 for Heuvelton.
HAMMOND 50, HERMON-DEKALB 43
Alyssa Crosby tallied 24 points as the Red Devils defeated the Demons (3-2, 2-2) in a West Division game in Hammond.
Courtney Bova added 12 points for Hammond (6-0, 5-0).
LISBON 41, HARRISVILLE 36
Alex Amo scored 10 points to lift the Golden Knights (3-3, 2-3) past the Pirates in a West Division game in Lisbon.
Jackie Sovie snagged 14 rebounds for Lisbon.
Kathleen Coloney led the Pirates (2-3, 1-1) with 19 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots.
EDWARDS-KNOX 44, MORRISTOWN 23
Katie Smith produced 12 points to lead Edwards-Knox (1-5, 1-3) to its first win of the season, in a West Division game in Morristown.
Jordyn Tulley led Morristown (0-7, 0-5) with 10 points.
CHATEAUGAY 43, COLTON-PIERREPONT 10
Courtney Boyea scored all 12 of her points on 3-point baskets to lead Chateaugay past Colton-Pierrepont (3-3, 2-1) in an East Division game in Colton.
Makayla Fleury scored eight points, and Caitlin Miller added seven for Chateaugay (3-0).
