CARTHAGE Stephen Larche and Collin Stewart each won two individual races and contributed to a pair of first-place relays to help power the Lowville boys swimming team to a 112-71 Frontier League interdivision victory over Carthage on Tuesday.
Larche capture the 200- and 500-yard freestyles, while Stewart took the 200 individual medley and 100 free for Lowville (4-0).
WATERTOWN 102, BEAVER RIVER 55
Andrew Keenan captured the 50 free and 100 backstroke and swam on two winning relays as the host Cyclones earned an interdivision victory.
Joey Ongkingco claimed the 100 and 200 free and anchored a relay for Watertown (4-0).
VOLLEYBALL
LOWVILLE 3, CARTHAGE 0
Tasha Widrick totaled 29 assists and 13 service points as the Red Raiders swept the Comets in a crossover match.
Chelsea Koster chipped in with 17 digs and nine service points and Haley Riley had 14 kills for Lowville (6-1), which won, 25-19, 25-14, 25-19.
Carly Sullivan handed out eight assists, while Cassie Birth pitched in with four kills and two aces, and Courtney Cunningham also hit four kills for Carthage (5-1, 4-1).
SANDY CREEK 3, GENERAL BROWN 0
Grace Wallace powered the Comets with nine aces and seven kills as they swept the Lions 25-8, 25-18, 26-24 in interdivision play at Dexter. Maddie Bush supplied 10 digs and three aces for Sandy Creek (7-0). McKenna Guarasce added eight kills and three blocks.
Ashley Lewis-Seals hit four kills for General Brown (1-5).

Keegan Richie scored five goals to pace the host Black Knights to a Section 3 Division I East victory.
Justin Hussey registered four assists for RFA (6-0, 5-0), which scored four power-play goals.
