Joyce Taylor, 69, Native of Mannsville, New York died unexpectedly on Dec. 14th, 2012 at the River Hospital in Alexandria Bay. She had been in ill health.

Born on Feb. 13, 1943 in Theresa NY, daughter of James and Dorothy Ellis.

She was survived by her husband George Taylor. They were married June 14, 1998 in Pierrepont Manor NY, also surviving her are her three children, two sons and a daughter; Terry Patten of Plesis NY, Vicktoria Patten of California, and Sean of California; two grandsons and one grand daughter Robert Freesche of Plesis NY, Harry Allen Patten, and Kathy Patten; Four great grandchildren and one sister Shirley Stephens of Watertown, NY, Two brothers Harry Ellis of Plesis NY, James Ellis of Plesis NY and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased in death by a brother and a husband Terry Patten in California.

She will be cremated and buried in the spring. There will be no service.
