Maurell E. Brown, 22, of 150 Clinton St., Apt. B2, was arrested early Tuesday afternoon by city police on allegations that he choked his wife.

He faces prosecution in City Court on charges of harassment and criminal obstruction of breath and blood circulation.

Police allege that at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday he grabbed Charita L. Brown, threw her on a bed, and placed his hands on her neck and squeezed.
