MASSENA - The Massena village Board of Trustees approved the hiring of two new Massena Village Police officers.

Michael J. O’Brien and Corey M. Francis will fill vacancies on the force.

The village board also approved the retirement of Sgt. Dion M. Durant, effective Feb. 22.
