MASSENA - A 15-year-old Massena teen was transported to Massena Memorial Hospital with a complaint of arm pain following a two-vehicle collision at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday near Massena Central High School.

Village police said David F. Page, 40, of 19 Meadow St., Massena, was westbound on state Route 37 when a vehicle operated by Lynne M. Chambers, 50, of 47 Quinell Road, Massena, pulled into his path. Ms. Chambers was ticketed for illegally passing a red light on Amherst Road at state Route 37. Police said Mr. Page had stopped for a red light on Route 37 and then restarted when the light turned green.

A passenger in Ms. Chambers’ vehicle, her 15-year-old daughter, Kaitlyn, was transported to Massena Memorial by Massena Rescue. First responders had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the teenager from the vehicle. Massena Fire also responded to the accident scene.
