LOWVILLE A Brownville man was charged Friday in connection with an alleged boot theft last month from the Lowville Farmers Co-op, Shady Avenue.
Village police charged Sheldon M. Cole, 49, of 101 E. Main St., with two counts of petit larceny, along with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Mr. Cole, who is incarcerated in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on unspecified charges, was processed here and returned to the Watertown jail.
He was accused of stealing two pairs of Carolina work boots Nov. 21.
