BLACK RIVER The village Board of Trustees held its annual organizational meeting Dec. 6.
With terms expiring Nov. 30, 2014, Corey D. Decillis and Laurie A. McCullouch were sworn in as trustees.
Kathie B. Montigelli was appointed by Mayor Leland J. Carpenter to a one-year term as registrar of vital statistics and Kristin L. Burroughs was appointed as deputy registrar of vital statistics.
Other mayoral appointments approved by the board included David Lachenauer as code enforcement officer and William Reichard as historian for one-year terms. Charles Stafford and Michael Hayes were appointed as Planning Board members for three-year terms. Michael Zecher was appointed to a five-year term on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Meetings will continue to be held at 6 p.m. the first Monday of each month unless it is a holiday, in which case the meeting will be held the first Tuesday.
Trustees also accepted the resignation of Michael Semrau from the Planning Board. The trustees did not appoint a replacement, deciding to solicit suggestions from the other members of the board.
