The city’s Parks and Recreation Department will hold a “Skate with Santa” event from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday in the Watertown Municipal Arena at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.

The festivities include holiday music and face-painting. Those who bring an unopened gift to donate to Toys for Tots will get free admission and skate rental. For others, regular charges apply.
