Matthew J. LaClair, 29, of 320 Arlington St., was issued three summonses Tuesday after he was involved in a three-vehicle accident prompting the temporary closing of County Route 63 in the town of Watertown.
He faces charges of unsafe passing, failure to keep right and driving at a speed not reasonable or prudent.
Jefferson County sheriffs deputies said his westbound vehicle skidded out of control as he crossed double solid lines shortly after 10 a.m. and collided nearly head-on with a pickup driven by Timothy J. Browne, 50, of 15618 Clark Road, Sackets Harbor. The pickup spun around and was hit by a vehicle behind it, operated by Bridget A. Ring, 29, Dexter, deputies said.
Sheri C. Browne, 40, Sackets Harbor, was treated at Samaritan Medical Center for multiple complaints of pain, according to the sheriffs office.
