Jesus Flores, 19, of 214 Flower Ave. E., was charged Tuesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property after Watertown police alleged that four GPS units found at his residence had been stolen.
He faces prosecution in City Court.
Police said the GPS units were recovered on the afternoon of Sept. 30, when officers were investigating a domestic fight. Investigation revealed the devices belong to Gary Workman, Christopher Paige, Rohanna Reynolds and Kimberly Locke, no addresses provided, and were stolen in West Carthage.
The investigation continues regarding other electronic equipment seized Sept. 30 in the Flores apartment, police said.
Mr. Flores pleaded guilty Thursday in Watertown town Court to petit larceny for a Sept. 18 shoplifting case involving merchandise priced at $415 at Walmart Supercenter, outer Arsenal Street. He was sentenced to three years probation and was assessed court fees amounting to $255.
