PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies charged Scott A. Dennis, 42, of 15 D Railroad Ave., Canton, formerly of Massena, with petit larceny following a shoplifting complaint at the Potsdam Walmart store. He allegedly entered the store on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 and stole an X-Box 360, three wireless controllers, a Play Station 3 headset and a pair of workboots. The property was valued at $468.85. He was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, where he is being held on an alleged parole violation stemming from his arrest on the shoplifting charge. He was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
