The Thousand Islands Performing Arts Fund will broadcast, live from Madison Square Garden, “121212: The Concert for Sandy Relief” at 7:30 p.m. today at the Clayton Opera House, 405 Riverside Drive.

The concert will benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for the live-streamed concert, which is free to attend, but a donation to the Robin Hood Relief Fund is suggested. The fund has provided blankets, food, heaters, generators and more to residents across storm-ravaged areas of New York and New Jersey.

At the opera house, the concert will be transmitted through a high-resolution projector onto a high-resolution screen. The event also will showcase TIPAF’s recently installed upgraded audio system.
