AKWESASNE — Mohawk International Raceway announced Monday the reinstatement of the Pro Stock division to its weekly lineup for the 2013 racing season.

The raceway had decided to scrap the pro stock class, but a meeting last week in which local teams showed support for the division convinced track staff to return pro stocks for next season.

Track officials are still working to keep the pro stock three-race series that has run the last couple of seasons.
