Virginia (Farnack) Mizur, 89, formerly of Allen Street, Allentown, Pa., and Watertown, NY, died Saturday morning, Dec. 8, 2012, at Liberty Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Paul Mizur Jr., who passed away in 1988. Virginia was born in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Virginia worked as a presser and seamstress, many yrs, for the fmr Catasauqua Garment Co., and for the fmr Olga Knitting Mill, Watertown. She attended the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua. Virginia was known for her baking and love of animals, especially her cats.
Survivors: half sisters, Olga, and Julie. Half brother, Harry. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by daughter, Sandra Jane Mizur in 2009, son, Michael P. Mizur, this past June.
