ADAMS CENTER — State police on Saturday charged Nickolas R. Cheever, 17, Adams Center, with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Mr. Cheever was accused of possessing an Apple iPod, belonging to another student, that had been stolen Tuesday from a locker room at South Jefferson High School, Adams.

He is to appear in Adams Town Court.
