An alleged overexposure landed a Watertown man in jail Friday night.

Wendell E. Shear, 59, of 616 Camp Ave., was charged by city police with endangering the welfare of a child and public lewdness. He was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $300 bail.

Police said Mr. Shear, while naked, stood in his upstairs window and exposed himself to three juveniles, yelling at them to get their attention.
