Connie and Perrin Knapp, Mooers, announce the engagement of their daughter, Christie Marie Knapp, Knoxville, Tenn., to Matthew John Curry, Knoxville, formerly of Richland.

Miss Knapp graduated in 2006 from Northeastern Clinton Central School, Champlain, and in 2010 from Clarkson University, Potsdam, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and management, minoring in law. She is an engineering consultant for Sequoia Consulting Group, Knoxville.

Mr. Curry, son of John and Linda Curry, Richland, graduated in 2006 from Pulaski Academy and Central School, and in 2010 from Clarkson, with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He is an engineering consultant for Sequoia Consulting Group.

An Aug. 16 wedding in the Finger Lakes is planned.
