A Brooklyn man was arrested Thursday in a drug raid on Huntington Street that netted 85 envelopes of heroin with an estimated value of $2,550.
Following a lengthy investigation, the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force arrested Keith A. Smith, 35, of 371 Monroe Ave., Brooklyn, on a charge of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after police used a search warrant at 1620 Huntington St., N3. Some crack cocaine and cash also were seized, according to a news release.
Mr. Smith was to be arraigned Friday in City Court.
The task force was assisted by the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department K-9 unit and the Watertown Police Special Response Team.
