The Canadian St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corp. announced Tuesday that two new members Georges Robichon and Timothy Dool joined its board of directors.
Both were appointed to three-year terms. Mr. Robichon replaces board member Paul Gourdeau as the international carrier representative, while Mr. Dool will replace Ian MacGregor as the domestic carrier representative on the board. Mr. Robichon, former senior vice president and general counsel of the Montreal-based Fednav Limited, is retired but serves as special counsel, corporate secretary and board member of Fednav.Fednav is Canadas largest ocean-going, dry-bulk shipowning and chartering group.
Mr. Dool was the president and CEO of Algoma Central Corp., St. Catharines, Ontario, for seven years before retiring in 2008.
In addition, Jonathan Bamberger, president of Redpath Sugar Ltd., Montreal, and member of Seaway Management Corp. board since August 2010, has been named chairman of the board effective Sept. 1.
